Re: Common Spot, Spew?
I understand the arguments here for checking, but there are a host of hands the BB and button would call a raise with. KQ KJ 89 etc. . . in either event your bet would represent an A and might get...

Re: Common Spot, Spew?
Bet the flop. If you get flat called then check fold the turn. If a blank hits the turn and he checks the turn then you could put him on a draw KQ or KJ and maybe a flush draw and proceed...

It won't cost you extra to drive. When you leave a (any?) parking garage in AC, ask for a transfer or receipt. Take that to the other garage and you will park for free.

Re: AA river fold
Call. this is JJ.
JJ is a hand that many people play tentaitively even when the J's are over the board and there is no real draws. This is true becuase it is prevelant in poker parlance that JJ...

Re: AC -- 5/11 - 5/12
That's great! I will be at showboat on Thurs. The NL game there is really juicy. Headed to Borgata on Fri and Sat.
What is the Borgata like? are there a lot of fish? or is it a tougher game.

Re: River call against TAG
Again, I like this play. He was probably on the draw and your check on the turn probably convinced him you were drawing too. His bet on the river is a bluff.
NH and Nice call.

Re: Think value bet?
Do you have a result for this hand? because I bet you any money he didn't have the flush. Nicely played.
He had a pair is my guess. and VB is great here. I like this line all the way through.

Re: Weird turn action
I think the slow play ends on the turn because the button could have a wide range. He is probably thinkning that A9 is a possibility putting him on a draw. or A9 hearts giving him a great draw....

I agree looks like a slow play of str8 or set. My money is on set. I thouhgt of overpair OOP in this siutation, but the limp/call is what changed my mind. He might have limp/raised with an...

Re: Weird turn action
I am pretty sure he has a set here. OPP call of a raise after limping in. Reeks of a small or mid pkt pair.

Re: Weird turn action
His set is good. Fold.
Here is my point. He limped in from early position. Probably with 55 88 77. This way he could try to catch a set or dump it for cheap. HERO raised; calling OOP with...

Re: Does anyone fold KK here?
He is making a big bet to get you off what he percieves as a flush draw. The 11 bet probably makes him think that you are on a draw which is why he goes all in. He wants to punish you for a draw. ...
