You don't always get what you ask for!!!

It seems common knowledge for the waitresses at the Trop, to take drink orders, but give you something close to what you asked for. The other night i thought i was ordering Crown and Coke, but told by some players that they don't serve Crown here. So i decided let me ask the bar guy in the poker room, he said they serve Jack Daniels or some other comparable drink instead of Crown. I didn't know who to be angry at, the waitresses who knew , or the Trop managemnt for duping us all. So the next time you are at the Trop, ask the bartender in the poker room if they ACTUALLY have it!!

Hey, if you got a waitress at the Trop to come by your table, take your order and actually bring you a beverage, I'd say you're doing pretty well!

um this is pretty standard in most casinos

I "Jack and Coke" might wind up being a "Jack Davis [a cheaper burbon] and a Pepsi" you get what they give you for free brother [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Im not defending this practice but I've run into this many times

True. Why would anyone bastardize their Crown Royal with coke or pepsi? Next time try ordering a Crown "neat." If you need to mix a drink ask for a Crown Royal Manhattan.

Sheesh, I just get irritated when they only have Diet Pepsi instead of Diet Coke! But I have recently discovered Photoc's Maps at the top of the B & M Forum that outlines which properties have Coke Products Vs. Pepsi Products! That map was BRILLIANT!!!!
