Default \"Two, All Day\"

It's evening I think. I can't tell you exactly the time because I've been sitting at this table for over eighteen hours, but the room is pretty full, which is what makes me think it's a weekend.

I'm sitting at a $1/$2 NL table with a stack of $1200. That would be impressive if I was up, but I'm not. I'm a little under even. A few seats to my right are these two lebense fellows. Nice guys. They're almost colluding but no one minds. They both have huge stacks; as large as mine.

Both of those fellows and myself are playing almost every hand preflop. In order to cheapen the process, after limping we yell down to the rest of the table "Two All Day". This is working to some effect, in that for the most part hands are not being raised preflop. Of course, when they are, we say "Twenty All Day, Twenty All Day" in hopes of avoiding any preflop all ins. If a player does push, we usually mutter disparagingly "All in on just two cards" and shake our collective heads.

So the hand in question I folded before it got interesting. Maybe I folded before the flop, maybe I folded before limping, to be honest I'm not that sure. I think I ordered another black coffee, making that number sixteen. There was a big raise before the flop. Big for this table was around $30 or $40 preflop. No, I'm not talking about a RERAISE, but rather a RAISE.

The flop comes down, and it's 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
This "new guy", who's not really new, but has only been at the table two and a half hours or so, bets out a certain amount of money. It's not really anywhere near the pot, but it's a decent bet. He's got a stack to him too, around $530ish, give or take twenty bucks.

Our friend the lebense guy calls fairly quickly.

The turn card is the queen of spades.

The new guy checks and the lebense guy bets one hundred dollars, real fast, in one motion, with a hundred dollar bill. The young guy insta pushes, and sneers.

Now my friend, Mr "Two All Day" was not a tight player. Not even really a thinking player. He'd made his money by sucking out and hitting fugly two pair. But he had a thousand dollars in front of him, and no one likes to loose. So he thinks, and he thinks and he thinks. And he mucks 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] face up.

Villian, the new guy, of course shows the A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]and the 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].

I was surprised to see villian with A4 in a huge pot that was raised big by someone preflop.
I was not surprised to see the lebense guy playing 72s in a big pot.
I was surprised to see him lay down a flush, after calling off huge bets to hit it.
I was not surprised to see him lose the rest of that thousand dollar stack very, very quickly.

Why did you need to beg people for pennies now? You had $1200.

Did this game have a no-cap buy-in?

How does everyone who who sees lebanese always change it.

To the poster who asked what lebanese was it is. Small country Lebanon in the middle east next to med sea. Known for hezbula(sp). Also, seems to have a larger than average amount of very good poker players compared to it's size and population or so that is the assumption I have made.

No.

It was a $100 max game, at Casino Windsor.
