Default Which hotel/motel should I book for a weekend in Atlantic City?

Super 8 near Taj, Best Western Envoy Inn near Taj, or the Sheraton? Why? I want to play at Taj or Borgata or both, as does the rest of my group.

Knowing nothing about anything, I will vote for the Best Western.

I haven't been in any of these hotels, but I don't think I'd feel particularly safe in the Super 8 or Best Western.

The Sheraton is extremely nice - if you can get a good deal, I recommend staying there. I've never stayed at Best Western, but I'm sure it would be fine (big chains are generally a safe choice in AC proper). Also, I've never stayed at Super 8 but would avoid it (one star, prob a semi shady dump, etc). Comfort Inn North in Absecon is a good choice if you have a car.

I stayed at the Super 8 one night the first weekend of April. It's no luxury palace, but there didn't seem to be anything outstandingly wrong with it. It seemed clean enough, the A/C worked, the hot water was hot.

Sheraton. That is the only place I would even consider. I've stayed or been in all and I would only step foot in the Sheraton.

For what its worth, all three are charging around the same price. I predict the Sheraton will be the winner of this match, but then again I am biased because I'm trying to convince Bdk3clash that the Sheraton is the only possible choice.

I haven't stayed at any of them, but I would guess that thae Sheraton is the best one. I have stayed at a lot of Sheratons and they are alwasys very nice.

Super 8 and Best Western are among the crappier motel chains.

I have stayed at a bunch of the motels along the Black Horse Pike and White Horse Pike. Most of them are fine, but transportation is a problem if you aren't driving.

The Sheraton has very nice rooms and the most comfortable beds ever.

Sheraton charges like $10/day for parking though.
