[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Foxwoods. A few years ago, so probably 1-2 NL. [I hit quads. Five minutes later:] Guy: "I hate this place. No competition. You know those quad 7's you hit? In Atlantic City you'd get $7000 for those." Me: "You mean a bad beat jackpot?" Guy: "No, just a bonus for getting quads. It's $7000." Me: "No way." Guy: "Yup. But they don't have to do that at Foxwoods. No competition up here." [/ QUOTE ] what is so strange about this? some casinos have a high hand jackpot in addition to or rather than a bad beat jackpot... unless im missing something... [/ QUOTE ] plenty of casinos have high hand jackpots, but they are NEVER more than a couple hundred dollars due to the fact that quads are hit so often. i guarantee that no north american cardroom has EVER had a $7k high hand jackpot, nevermind one that would pay out $7k for just quads. [/ QUOTE ] Also, there are no bad beat or high hand jackpots anywhere in AC. They're illegal IIRC. [/ QUOTE ] This has changed, recently. All Harrah properties in AC now have a bad beat jackpot. |
