Double Flop

[/ QUOTE ]

Could you expand on this please? Just curious...

[/ QUOTE ]

Double flop hold'em is played in similar fashion to regular Texas hold'em with a twist. There are two boards. There is a flop, turn, and river for each board, and they are dealt at the same time.

Players make the best hand for each board. They do not declare which board they inted to win, but their hand is evaluated only for each board. For example, if you hold AA and the boards are:
Board 1: A2345
Board 2: K8875

You have a straight, ace to five for board one and a two pair- aces and eights for board two. You do NOT have a full house (using the A from board 1 and the 88 from board two).

Double flop hold'em is often played as a split-pot game. The player who wins one board wins half the pot and the player who wins the other board wins half the pot. However, it can also be played where the best hand from one board wins the entire pot.

Home is Harrahs in New Orleans. Usually 2-5 NL, 15-30 Limit Omaha High, and 15-30 Holdem (when they have it, which lately has been never). Sometimes 5-10 NL (depending on the lineup).

I rate CAZ as 9/10

Good cheap food, tons of action, and good high limit action(always a 20-40 and 40-80 game going)

Home for me is Turning Stone. Their big game is run on Friday that is a 5-10 blinds 300 minimum no max buy in. I go to school at Cornell, and that's the closest thing around that's halfway decent. My real home is in Humble, about 20 miles from downtown Houston. Unfortunately, there are no casinos in Texas...

For NL, Majestic Star/Trump. For limit, Resorts.

What he said. Our options are severely limited in Chicago.

However, I also second (third?) the smileys for Casino Arizona in Scottsdale. I occasionally travel to Phoenix/Scottsdale for business and have played there multiple times. Action is good, and food is solid & cheeeeeeap! Also met basketball great Connie Hawkins there -- he was playing the mid-limit tables and apparently is something of a regular there (?). G00t times.

"home" would have to be Sandia Casino, Albuquerque, NM, although I live 4 hours away. The 10/20 LHE and the 1/2 & 2/5 NL games...soft, soft, soft.
