Re: Weird turn action
Without a read, no, I prefer a fold and look him up if he does it again
I probably play the flop the same, but even though its 3 handed, I might throw a CB out there depending on the table. I dont play FR though so that could be spewage at its finest |

Re: Weird turn action
No c-bet?
Im not sure anyone hit this flop, UTG is all in for twice the pot. All checked the flop, I like a call... could be two hearts or any decent jack. In fact I might push to get Bb out. dislaimer: might be all wrong. |

Re: Weird turn action
I call here.
There's no way that given action so far, UTG expects a call |

Re: Weird turn action
I'd make a standard flop cb, $10-11, and be done with it. At least 50% chance it missed both of them, and you have position.
Folding turn is hard, but that's a substantial overbet, so your odds suck; dump it. |

Re: Weird turn action
I think you'll see weaker jacks and other crap to make this call OK most of the time. However, full ring I think calling the turn is pretty much neutral EV, this is often a missed flop c/r. I bet $10 on the flop often here. If your friend had bet $10 on the flop and then UTG shoved turn when the jack falls, could he find a fold?

Re: Weird turn action
His set is good. Fold.
Here is my point. He limped in from early position. Probably with 55 88 77. This way he could try to catch a set or dump it for cheap. HERO raised; calling OOP with that is fine for a mid PP out of position. He hits the flop. Str8 draw. No flush draw. He wants to slow play. so he checks. Trun makes 9 10 good and puts a flush draw out there. Doesn't want his set cracked. so he overbets thinking that maybe you have a draw to beat him and wants you off it NOW. OR you would be so excited to hit you TPTK or TPNK that you would call. After all his hand is disguised. His set of proabably 7's is good, so fold is right. Nice fold! |

Re: Weird turn action
I am pretty sure he has a set here. OPP call of a raise after limping in. Reeks of a small or mid pkt pair.
I don't know about percentages, but just looks like it to me. I don't like TPTK in this situation. |
