Re: NL 25 AA Line check
[ QUOTE ]
so you check the turn and he leads, what size bet are you calling? what if he pots?
[/ QUOTE ]
I might call up to 3/4 pot. Then check the river. If he bets the river strong, I...

Re: NL25 - AA vs calling-station
[ QUOTE ]
You could check call the river. J10 got there, a 9 got there. Also it gives him a chance to bet a missed flush draw. Although I'm not too sure this is right given he is calling a lot. This...

dalerobk,
Your opinion lost all credibility after you said [ QUOTE ]
Also, I wouldn't count a 4 as an out at all, since you won't get paid off if it hits.

Re: NL25: Playing weaker draws 8 -10 outs
This isn't just a weaker draw; this is a really weak draw. There's a really good chance that one of the other two has a FD, if not better, so 2 outs are gone. Also, I wouldn't count a 4 as an out...

Re: Turned flush facing C/R
I think you're beat. Because you're so deep I would fold to the reraise. After all, everyone has got to realize that in a three-way pot, someone just hit the flush. He would have to be a complete...

Re: 100 NL, how good (or spewy) is this?
It looks like he flopped top set to me. Everyone who flops top set always checks the flop. Then he c/c the turn. Then he bets the river to make sure you don't check behind. It stinks of a set of...

Re: NL25: AQ TPGK + Nut FD pushing on flop
By the way, as played I think the shove is terrible because it does actually give him a chance to get away from AJ or AT. I would call the flop raise and c/c or c/r the turn. There's zero reason...

Re: 50NL: AKs - TPTK + FD on Turn
Just saw stack sizes and see why you raised. Assuming he has aces up it's barely +EV. but you need to stay out of these marginal situations to begin with.

By the way, if you think the Jd "prices you in," why do you miniraise? If you know your hand is no good unless you hit and you know he's not folding hte better hand, why raise? Just call.

Re: 50NL: AKs - TPTK + FD on Turn
Your problem is playing big pots with draws. Draws are not that valuable in NL, especially when you're not getting great odds and great implied odds and in position.

Re: 50NL: Priced into drawing?
You need $90 in the pot to call with 6 to 1 odds (roughly). Plus, you have to realize that with a drawing hand, part of its value comes from being able to extract after you hit. It's pretty obvious...

Re: AQ nut flush draw on flop
I probably would have folded preflop with a raise and call in front of me. I really don't like the all-in here. You have position on two players. I would also be concerned about the caller, who...

Re: NL 25 KK line check
Not too many people check/miniraise the turn with a draw. He would have to committ the majority of his stack to a semibluff with only one card to come OOP. That would be pretty ballsy. It...

I have to disagree with everyone. I think this guy either has an overpair to the flop or a set. He might have something stupid like 8-9 and thus a draw, but more times than not he was calling...
