I think you've correctly put your finger on the problem which is the size of your turn bet.
Villain may have a set here but he also has an overpair to the board a good amount of the time and may see your turn bet as AK firing a weak 2nd barrel. I bet about 12 on the turn, that way other overpairs either go away or call. Any raise is then much more likely to be a set and maybe I could fold then. As played, you're left with a really tough choice as to whether or not to continue. I think I'd end up calling his raise and then checking the river, knowing that a big river bet would probably blow me out of the hand AND knowing that villain probably knows that too. |

No, pot the turn or very close to it. Pot was 12.85 after the flop, so I say 12 or thereabouts.

ok so assuming a bigger bet on the turn are you folding to a raise?
a min raise at that |

If you bet 12 bucks, min raise = 24 bucks = all in. I would probably fold to that.
You could check the turn of course, but you'd still have this problem on the river. |

You don't need to bet the pot on the turn IMO. What hands do you get value out of if you bet the pot? this is a dry board.
I would bet to 9-10, not sure what i would do when he minraises, but he has limped in and called a raise. I would find it hard to find a hand we beat to this action. Though he does appear to be loose and aggro (small sample) |

he doesnt seem scared of the overcard to the flop so i think this narrowed his range and made me think i was behind

He's aggro, i can't let this go. I'm pushing the turn, is this so bad?
