This is definitely what I'd do vs a tight player, as they are unlikely to call your bet with A8 or something on the river.
If i were to bet this river, i would probably just shove it in. You can't fold to a reraise given the odds if you bet $8, and he only calls with hands you are beating but raises with hands that beat you.

I basically agree with this. I also c/c river since JT gets there and a 9 gets there. But if betting the river, I like the $8 bet rather than a shove. I think even massive calling stations will fold TT or JJ to a shove on the river a fair amount of time, but they might very well call a smallish bet.
