Raise.
You got 2nd nut flush draw, 1 overcard and a backdoor straight draw.
It's very likely that all 3 opponents call the raise and that's why you should consider exploiting your pot equity edge...

Is calling for a backdoor flush correct ?

Re: Is calling for a backdoor flush correct ?
No.
The BDFD adds about 1.5 outs to your hand. So with the BDFD alone odds should be around 30-1 approximately to continue chasing the BDFD.
Remember you have to hit turn AND river.
Edit: If the...

Re: Why do I lose money
I suggest you start single-tabling. Try to concentrate on improving your game and forget about the money. If you can't at the present limit you should go down a couple of levels.
And 10/4.5 seems...

Re: Shorthanded in the BB
Yeah your advice seems very sound to me.
But what about Ed Miller's "why you aren't crushing microlimit" post? It contains an example about NOT folding TPNK in a similar situation to OP's hand....

Re: Shorthanded in the BB
That's right. That's why hands like that should be folded PF in an instant.
But once we flop top pair in a raised pot, we should fight for it. Or is it just not worth it in this situation?

Re: Shorthanded in the BB
Fold preflop.
On the flop I might go for a c/r and if villain just calls (after MP1 hopefully folded rather than called two cold) I lead the turn.
If villain 3bets my raise on the flop I c/f...

Re: Stars .50/1 - Advice on this AK hand please

Flop is ok.
Turn I would play the same.
After villain's river check I assume that you are still ahead in this hand. IMO, villain holds a weak ace and realised on the turn...

Re: .5/1 - 99 overpair
hey guys!
UTG+1 on calling mode all the way suddenly waking up when there is 3 to a flush on board... shouldn't we consider folding too?
or do we b/f? or b/c?

I probably would have checked behind on the turn planning to call the river UI.
But as played you have to call villain's c/r. You have enough outs to call correctly.
River I'd call but I...
