Default .5/1 - 99 overpair

UTG+1 50/10/1.3 (only 10 hands so far)
MP3 52/42/6 (52 hands)

Muck the hand on the river, instead of overcalling? Any comments on other streets?

hey guys!
UTG+1 on calling mode all the way suddenly waking up when there is 3 to a flush on board... shouldn't we consider folding too?
or do we b/f? or b/c?

If you bet everytime you called down to the river when someone in front of you checks the river you'd rarely be wrong.

Easy edit checkfold IMO.

UTG+1 comes alive when he has been passive all hand. The sample size for villian is small and almost worthless.

Fold. Even if we have UTG beat, what does MP3 still continue to call with? If both players are retarded, then I call, but UTG has shown that he has a heart draw made good, or a really badly played pair of 2s.

Remember, when overcalling, the original caller is never bluffing. Is two pair good enough here? Who knows what these yahoos are playing? x7, x6, x2, 58, 35, xx[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 22,33,55,88,99, TT. We are ahead of many of these combos, but how often are we ahead when a caller becomes a bettor on the final street when all we have is 2 pair? At a minimum the caller and the better have 2 pair. The trick now is to figure it out. The only 2 pair that we lose to is (logically the way the hand was played out) is TT. We beat every other 2 pair out there. I don't think JJ-AA is in his range right now, and if they are, that makes our hand even more of an underdog.

I dunno. The way the hand was played, I fold.

edited for spelling and misread action

Yeah, but we've got MP beat here roughly a million percent of the time. He's aggro enough that he would have bet or raised somewhere if he had something that beat us.

OP, if you're going to check the river (I think you should bet) then you should call on the end. The pot is very large and UTG+1 can have several hands that we're ahead of (75, a busted 5, possibly just a 7).

I think I would just c/c the flop and then c/r the turn if a blank came. What do you think? We would be risking a small amout of expectation to win a much larger amount. That might also help to protect our hand.

Not many turn cards are blanks - low cards pair the board or make more straights possible, high cards are overcards to our pair.

PF raiser + overpair = bet/3bet, otherwise you are missing out on too much value.
