Re: Should I donk my flopped flush draw?

Bet the flop. As I see it, you will win the pot enough to make it profitable plus if you do happen to get called, you have outs.

Re: 77 from BB, all streets questionable

Seriously, I think the preflop raise is debatable and a "feel" situation. After that, I think you played fine.

Re: A9o in BB, losing value on the river?

I play this the same way. Most other cards, you can safely value bet the typical fish.

Re: Frequent situation river play: crying call or gangsta fold?

I like a raise on the flop. As you played it, I don't see how you can do anything but a crying call on the river. If the BB was still in the hand, you would be able to fold. I expect you to lose the...

Re: KK with AsJsTc flop am I weak thight

Maybe I'm wrong for asking this but what about a flop raise, followed by a turn check and a river call (or check) on this flop? If you're 3 bet on the flop and the other player hasn't gotten two out...

Re: AK vs 2 villains. First one donks, then the other, wtf?

I like a raise here. He could very easily have a smaller ace + a flush draw and will pay off here. He could pay off to a non heart raise on the river but your pot equity is not likely to get any...

Three Handed Razz

Hi All, This was a Razz hand I played today on Poker Stars (.50/1) Horse cash game. I haven't really ever read how to play this game so I'm just kind of winging it. I hope people can tell me what I...

Re: C/R this turn? Yes?

Well played. I play it the same. On the flop, I don't mind the call because it is a very drawy flop. He could be raising a straight draw or a flush draw here. I like the check raise on the turn. If...

Re: 99 free showdown raise, multiway pot

[ QUOTE ]
Calling the flop 3bet with the intentinon of popping the turn, increases the hero's probability of winning this large pot so much that capping the flop would be terrible.

Re: TPTK turn laydown vs c/r

Good fold. the BB's raise on the turn tells me he either made his straight (would he call a raise with T7? I guess if it were suited) Or slowplayed top two (98). I vote for the latter but either way,...

Re: KTo in CO

I like the flop call because of the villain's stats. No chance you will ever take the initiative from him. Bet/Call that river.

If you can fold to a CO 3bet it's perty.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is the only issue. CO could have and 3-bet a lot of two-pair hands which folding would be a significant mistake...

Re: (2/4) I\'m raised on turn with TPTK

There's a whole bunch of Big Ace hands that we are beating on the turn plus we have outs against the probable two pair hands. A9 or a set are clearly the scariest of all possible cards. I three bet...

Re: Limp reraised, chkchk, turn cred, my action?

Guy has Aces, AK or KK. Way you played it, you have to fold. Someone else recommended a check behind, call river bet. I like that line.

Re: $0.5/$1 hand, misplayed flop and turn?

I don't have too much of a problem with the flop play. Seems likely to me that MP would bet and then you could c/r. As you played it, I think you need to raise the turn if only to blow away the rest...

Re: AQo

I think this is well played. Against the right player and in position turning into a calling station with a marginal hand is a great idea. Obviously, if the other player doesn't bet, you can and...

Re: Calling two, cold, on the flop with a gutshot

You have a gssd and a non nut bdfd. If you spike your K or J, it's probably no good. I think you need about 6:1 or 7:1 to call this. You're getting 7:1 here but you're not closing the betting. So the...

Re: AKs monotone

I'm confused by the responses here. Isn't this a WA/WB situation? Why aren't we donking into the flop raiser on the river?

Re: AP 3/6 blind steal passive line

I think you have to check raise the turn. It's possible he has a bigger ace but this is a blind steal so much, you're usually ahead.

Re: Nice read or nice skirt?

Value Bet! He's calling this river with AQ. That is a very likely holding. I'd probably fold to a check/raise though.

Re: 3/6 - Suck it up and bet/call this riv?

The villian is very unlikely to have a flush since you hold the A/images/graemlins/spade.gif and it was capped preflop. That means that a raise means either AQ or JJ with a slowplyaed T also a...

I decide to raise the turn, maybe too fancy against this guy but it looks a little more believable. He calls the blank turn, river is a Jack offsuit, he checks and I just check...

Re: BB against SB

I raise. Guy has a 32 PFR in a blind steal situation. You may have the best hand right now and you clearly have an awesome draw. The raise could be a value raise and if it isn't, it gives you fold...

Fossillman:

Thanks for your reply here. Is this something that you only do against a player of Negreanu's caliber? Clearly, this type of move of senseless against a weak player who would have...
