Three Handed Razz
Hi All, This was a Razz hand I played today on Poker Stars (.50/1) Horse cash game. I haven't really ever read how to play this game so I'm just kind of winging it. I hope people can tell me what I did wrong here if anything.
Bring in is to my direct right with a J. I have a 2(48) for a smooth 8 draw. BEhind me, I see a 2, T, 2, 5, T, 8 I just call the bring in on third street. Should I raise here? Everyone folds around to the 8, who also calls. The bring in checks, and we are three handed going to third street. Bring IN xx J8 Other Guy xx 84 Me (48)22 I pair on fourth but feel I have the best draw so it goes: other guy bets bring in calls I call Should I raise here? Fifth street: Other Guy: xx 846 Bring In: xx J89 Me (48) 22A Now I have a smooth 8 draw. Other Guy bets, bring in calls (??) and I raise. Everyone calls. Is it good to raise this? Should I have raised on fourth street? Sixth Street: Other Guy: xx 846Q Bring In: xx J895 Me (48) 22A9 I make a 984, but I could still be behind to the other guy. Bring in checks I bet Other guy calls Bring in calls Should I have checked here? River: Other Guy: xx 846Q x Bring In: xx J895 x Me (48) 22A9 (9) So my hand ends up a 9842A Bring in checks I check Other guy checks Whatya all think? |

Re: Three Handed Razz
4th is a fold IMO only because you are drawing to an eight at this point, while "other guy" seems to have made his 8, or is betting like it anyway. So you are behind on 5th and even when you catch your A you are still drawing to an 8
