Well played. I play it the same. On the flop, I don't mind the call because it is a very drawy flop. He could be raising a straight draw or a flush draw here. I like the check raise on the turn. If three bet, just check/call down.

I just donk the turn. It is very likely for BB to check through as a draw is a good part of his range and the Q a good part of yours.
If I was holding a PP and the turn bricked then I go for the C/R unless I have a read that BB likes to use the FCP. |

It's not a given at all he's betting this turn, even with a made hand (if it's a single pair). |

So consensus is donk the turn now?
[ QUOTE ] I'd rather bet/3-bet than c/r. [/ QUOTE ] You can't be serious about 3 betting this turn.... |

[/ QUOTE ] I'm not sure I'd do it without a decent read, so I'm only semi-serious. The read you did give is that he semi-bluffs the turn. If I had confidence in that read, yeah, I think you should consider a 3-bet. He won't call a river bet if his draw doesn't come in, plus a semi-bluffable draw is more likely than 2-pair or a set. When you observed him semi-bluff before, was it a bet or a raise (it matters)? |
