$0.5/$1 hand, misplayed flop and turn?

Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

SB: 81/15 after 50 hands 
MP: 55/24 after 50 hands 
Button: 66/0 after 50 hands 

Preflop: Hero is BB with 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
1 fold, MP calls, Button calls, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (4 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, MP checks , Button checks.

 I was going for a check raise thinking that a K or J may have helped one opponent. Mistake because of their stats? 

Turn: (2 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB bets, Hero calls, MP calls, Button calls.

 I was thinking there was a very good chance that SB had now me beaten and I just called for a cheap show down. Mistake? 

River: (6 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, MP folds, Button calls, SB 3-bets, Hero caps, Button calls, SB calls.

Final Pot: 18 BB

Results in white below: 
SB has Ts 4h (full house, fours full of tens).
Hero has 4s Jd (full house, fours full of jacks).
Button has Qh 9s (straight, king high).
Outcome: Hero wins 18 BB.

Bet the flop, nobody has shown any agression preflop to give an indication of someone who may bet and if someone does have a K they may raise it giving you the ability to either check raise the turn or 3-bet the flop.

You assumed you were beat on the turn because a T fell and SB bet when the flop was checked through. SB could be betting any pair or even bluffing a draw. Raise it here.

River is good, but you missed out on a lot of bets on the other streets.

I don't have too much of a problem with the flop play. Seems likely to me that MP would bet and then you could c/r. As you played it, I think you need to raise the turn if only to blow away the rest of the field by charging them two bets and making it a real bad idea for them to chase a gssd or a small pair with an overcard. I understand the argument for betting the flop and probably would have myself but I just don't think it's a terrible play.

Bet flop, raise turn, river is good.

Make a note that button sucks bad...

I lead this flop 100% of the time, nobody had the initiative preflop so you have no reason to believe someone will bet it. As played I would of raised the turn also.
