Re: The Only Three Questions That Matter

Ok, I would personally classify myself as a deist. But have a few questions for u

if there was a god, wouldn't he be capable, or wouldn't he\she\it or whatever, exist beyond out comprehension?...

Re: Where is the chance/skill cusp for Hold\'em?

How then about the options and futures market? Couldn't u view your hand as a call option on the pot. You are basically betting on the flop turning in your favour. I really can't see how poker...

Re: Where is the chance/skill cusp for Hold\'em?

wouldn't the best way to 'legalize' poker, or to get politicians to view poker as a game of skill, be to draw parallels to the stock and options market and show how the two forms of 'gambling' aren't...

Re: An Interesting Read on Time Travel

This is a subject I have been thinking about a lot lately. Now, I'm not going to pretend to be a great physicist or methematician, but I thought I would share my two cents anyways.

So far I have...

Re: How oil scarcity will affect the future from a scientific perspective

Haven't read the other replies yet so sorry if I am just repeating

Given the proper incentives, mankind is very creative and can easily find new sources of energy. Right now the price of oil is...

Re: Smashing a nut flush draw

*grunching*

Don't like the capping preflop, with a raise and a reraise, a hand like ATs is easily dominated and putting more money into the pot seems like -EV for me. Coldcalling seems maybe a bit...

Re: Marginal hand from BB

*grunch*

Allthough many people at micros limp with anything, a lot seem to love limping with Ace-rag, suited or unsuited which doesn't pose a threat to us here. Betting this flop seems fine to me,...

Re: Would you of played this??

*grunch*

3-bet the turn, you have the nut flush at that point and not many hands beat you.

I would probably lead out on river again. If villain raises what I would do would depend on my read...

Re: Not sure about this one AQs

*grunch*

Preflop looks fine to me. Flop I would bet too. I would also bet out the turn even with a K on the board. Keep betting the river though. The 7 is not really a scare card and you haven't...

Re: Suited Board, Turn Raise from LAG

*grunch*

I would fold here. With four to a flush, I can't see this being a profitable hand to play. The pot is not that big either.

Re: Grunch this please

If it's checked all the way in a micro limit game with six people in the hand, my impression is that the button will bet in 90% of the cases. At least that's my experience. Only time it might get...

Re: Poker and Pot

It has helped my game a bit. Keeps you away from boredom when you never hit any cards. When I wasn't smoking i would eventually decide to play trash just to keep my mind occupied, but when smoking I...

Re: Slowplaying Top Two Pairs

I like it, no draws out there, and giving away a free card would be safe the way I see it.

Fold, pot is small and board looks scary. A better opportunity will come along

Re: Flopped 2 pair

*grunch*

Bet out on flop, 3-bet if raised. Turn is pretty bad, but I would bet out anyways, if it is raised again I would just call. C/c river.

Re: Grunch this please

*grunch*

Bet the flop, if it is raised I would probably 3-bet it. Not many hands that have you beat at this point. I would also lead out on turn as well. River I would probably c/c. Is that too...

Re: First Hand Post (Probably played poorly)

*grunch*

PF looks fine. I would lead out on flop as well, and 3-bet. When he comes over the top and caps the betting I would probably give up and fold, but calling it down is probably not too much...

Re: Hooked

*Grunch*

3-bet the flop, if he caps I would probably put him on a higher pocket pair, can't see him having 57 after 3-betting the flop. Would still want to go to showdown probably, but not giving...

Re: Nut-flush slowplay

*grunch*

I probably would have 3-bet it on the flop after the button brought it in for a raise. The players that have called both the bet and the raise will probably call a 3-bet as well. If you...

Re: OVERCARDS!!

*Grunch*

After raising preflop here I would probably bet out on the flop as well. With only two others in the pot there is a decent chance you could win the pot right there if neither of them hit...

Re: Playing 99 in SB

*Grunch*

Don't know if I would have raised here OOP with 4 limpers already in the pot. Microplayers who have already limped is hard to get to fold with a raise preflop, and when you are first to...

Re: JT line check... nano limit

*grunch*

Easy fold preflop for me. JTo OOP can be a pain in the ass to play, even if a J or T hits the flop you are likely beat against KJ, AJ, KT AT or any higher pocket pair. I only play this...
