Re: Smashing a nut flush draw
Routine preflop fold. Seriously. That changes the whole dynamic of the rest of the hand.

Re: Smashing a nut flush draw
Do not leave that table under any circumstances! God I need to start playing at Party again! Buddy list MP3, CO and button for sure.
As far as the hand goes, I'm not sure I like the turn raise. Although you did slow down MP1 and his aces, you're certainly not folding anyone and with three opponents and with your ace outs almost certainly not good I don't think it's a value bet either. I don't know that I use the free showdown raise enough - but I thought it was more for heads up with the benefit being that sometimes your opponent might fold a hand that's beating you. Don't think that applies here. |

Re: Smashing a nut flush draw
Is the cap on the flop a good idea? Its going to be an expensive turn if you dont hit it.

Re: Smashing a nut flush draw
Just interested in what the criteria is for doing so - number of players going to call? If so how many do you need?

[/ QUOTE ] OK now we're not supposed to do this, but look at the results, and plop all those hands into pokerstove, including some "random hands" for the players that dropped before showdown, and figure our equity. See how often we win, and ask yourself why we would always cap this. |
