Default OVERCARDS!!

These things are just tricky to me, but, I'd like to know if I did this one right.

Interpoker $.50/$1 Full ring

Hero has K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in BB

2 folds, UTG+2 calls, 2 folds, MP3 calls, 3 folds, Hero Raises, UTG+2 calls, MP3 calls.

Flop: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Hero checks, UTG+2 Bets, MP3 folds, Hero calls.

Turn: 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Hero checks, UTG+2 Bets, Hero folds.

What hands could I put him on? Should I call I he was drawing for the flush?

bet the flop, go from there.

w/ 1 caller, bet turn ui. w/ 2, c/fold ui.

if guy calls turn, c/fold river ui.

With two villains in the pot, you must bet the flop. If there were 4-5 villains, check-calling becomes a much better option.

After raising preflop here I would probably bet out on the flop as well. With only two others in the pot there is a decent chance you could win the pot right there if neither of them hit anything as well. Hard to see what UTG+2 could have here, but he could be betting a flush draw for value, or just sensing your weakness. A low pocket pair could be possible as well I guess. Anyways, lead out on the flop after having raised preflop.

these overcards don't have much going for them on this flop except some fold equity.

I'd bed this flop.

Then again this could be a leak of mine, playing overcards too hard.

I like the PF raise, however, I would have continued with a bet on the flop.

Usually with overcards like this when I completely miss the flop I will let them go if there is no improvement on the turn against a bet or raise.

Good Luck!

You c/fold the river vs 1? You should be getting about 5:1 odds here minimum. I think you'll cause a fold more than that, but now you've got me wondering how much I'm leaking here!

I like a bet on a non-spade river, esp. one that doesn't include cards 3-9. I think you fold some A-high gutshots and flush draws, and the occasional pair of 3s plus gutshot.
