Re: My concentration only lasts so long

[ QUOTE ]
I played great for 6 hours and made $6.
I played crappy for 45 min. and lost $90.

I have to say and dont take this the wrong way but anyone who plays great for 6 hours wins a lot more...

Re: Mucked hand Controversy

I would blame whoever was dealing the hand. The dealer should have pushed the pot over to the winner. And if player B thought he lost, what was he doing touching the chips that were in the pot. I...

Re: likely dominated

I guess I should start off by saying I'm a TAG player.

If the player that likely had me dominated was a weaker player, I would most definetly call. I would probably try a continuation bet, that is...

Re: Concentration

While I'm not involved in a hand, I try to make reads on the other players at the table. It helps keep me focused.

If you lose concentration constantly, then you might want to try smaller...

How to break up a table

I recently hosted a 12 player tourney. When we got down to 10 people, it was time to form a final table. I looked at my table to see who was going to be BB next. I then moved that player to the UTG...

Re: Restricted buy-In vs. capped buy-in thoughts..

I'm not sure what you mean about feeling rushed to get your chips in. Maybe it's the $6 charge and not the resticted buy-in.

I don't think you should feel too rushed with 100 BB. I personally...

Re: Want to learn another form of Poker..

I'm primarily a Hold em player. I really wasn't interested in playing any other form until i started to get burnt out on playing HE. At first, I didn't like Omaha, but after playing it for a while,...

Re: Jack&Jill/Stag&Doe Poker

Have a turbo tournament. 5-10min blinds. It will go really fast, and you could play more than one if you like.

In the end, I think you should just choose a game you are comfortable with. You...

Re: Cash game newbie after advice

with your hand....
I think if you checked the turn, you have to fold to a river bet

I probably would have gotten out on the turn.

I prefer to just wait...

I'm sorry, but I think using suits to randomize your play is kinda stupid. You should be changing it up for a reason, not just for the hell of it.
