Default pocket jacks - poll

Here's a situation I have discussed quite a bit with some friends, and just for the sake if it I'd like to have a somewhat more representative idea:

You hold pocket jacks and raise preflop in MP. An EP reraises and you call. The Flop hits A,T,4, three different suits, and the EP comes out betting.

Is this limit or no limit? The EP player limped and then reraised before the flop? What do we know about the EP player?

Suppose it's limit. Yes, EP limped, you raise, he reraises, you call. Let's say you don't have too much of a read on him, but suppose he's an typical player, rather strong, rather tight and a mixes things up.

Wow 26 people so far voted fold. No wonder I suck at LHE, I'm raising here (Folding to a RR, Betting out on the turn/calling/Folding to a CR (unless a K/Q Falls, then I'm check/folding), check/calling the river).

I have a very strong opinion that pocket jacks were sent to earth by Satan to torment poker players for gambling....if its a sin? or they just really f**king suck. I'll fold pocket jacks to a lot of action pf, in this situation, Id probably raise to see where I was, and if rr, fold...or call, and see the turn at least....geez, this post makes no sense.

My initial reaction was call and see what happens on the turn. A C/R preflop in limit... AK doesn't seem likely because that would have been R/C. AA or KK seem possible, I am leaning towards AA between the two. QQ, again, I don't see the reraise. TT- 22, I don't see it happening like this. I'm leaning towards mucking it now with this new info. If you have a read and you think it's KK, then reraise and try and push him off (although limit makes it harder to do that).

Agree. I voted fold because I thought it was NL.

This is a tough question. Why did EP limp-reraise?
I would raise normally, but a limp-reraise PF? i guess fold...

Seeing that ace is going to make me wait for another flop to bet my hooks.
