Default Cash game newbie after advice

Table was squeaky tight, (although villan had only just joined the table) I was trying to mix it up a little so...

PokerStars Pot-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (7 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

UTG ($132.20)
Hero ($117.60)
MP2 ($58.50)
CO ($349.75)
Button ($42.50)
SB ($20.70)
BB ($95.25)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $3</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, Button calls $3, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>.

Flop: ($7.50) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $5</font>, Button calls $5.

Turn: ($17.50) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">Button bets $7</font>, Hero calls $7.

River: ($31.50) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">Button bets $15</font>, Hero ??

My advice is to quit watching reruns of ESPN's "Tilt."

Villain is betting for value here. It's a fold, but if you're interested in winning the pot, you need to hammer it.

Im a winning MTT player and I would see bluffs on a board like this all the time, I want to know if I can expect the same in cash games and weather calling in the long run is profitable or not, If its read dependent say so, I didnt ask for comments on the pre flop raise. Oh and Ive never watched an episode of TILT in my life.

Whitey,

Don't worry about it; preflop raise is good, just make it $4 instead of $3.

I think this is a nice board to fire a second barrel. Against some opponents it will fold out a hand like A7 or 88, and you've got a redraw if you get called. If you get pushed, you can get off the hand, as Villain is only going to push back with a monster or some serious cojones, in which case he's earned it.

with your hand....
I think if you checked the turn, you have to fold to a river bet

I probably would have gotten out on the turn.
