Chip and a chair
I just had the most ridiculous heads up comeback in a STT (albeit a $1 entry). Heads up, blinds 300/600, and I lose a hand with top pair vs slowplayed aces. That left me with 30 chips. 14 hands...

Re: .5/1 Full Ring, Flop boat-slowplay?
You can make a good case for check-calling the flop, but you should definitely raise on the turn. If he has a 9, he's not going to slow down much. There's no sense in waiting until the river.

Re: I suck at this game.. please help
Like you said, you don't have a huge hand sample, so it could be you're just running bad. Looking at your stats, though, you've pretty much identified your problem- you are playing entirely too...

Re: Party 0.25/0.50 JJ
With a raise and 2 cold-calls on the flop, you are almost assuredly beat. Lay it down instead of 3-betting.

Re: Taking stabs at pots from the BB
This is a situation where reads are very useful. If you're up against a calling station, then they're probably not going to fold no matter what, so there's no sense in betting.
Against average...

Re: 66 hand
I would probably raise the flop because of the two diamonds, but I don't think a call here is bad at all.
On the river I would just call since the flush hit and any 7 beats you.

Re: too much aggression?
I don't like the raise on the river. His checkraise on the turn indicates strength. He could have the 5 or even have hit the flush draw. I definitely wouldn't have capped.

Re: AQo raised preflop but miss
I would bet the turn. Given the coordinated flop, it's likely he is on the draw, and it's doubtful the turn helped. His check on the turn shows weakness as well. If he plays back at you, you can...

Flush draw facing heavy action on flop and turn
Hey all- my first attempt at one of these... here goes!
Reads:
UTG+1 is a passive player preflop, not extraordinarily loose or tight. Postflop he is still passive and calls down some hands he...

Re: SB?
I would definitely raise. You have the best hand here the vast majority of the time- you want a bigger pot. If a King or especially an Ace flops, you know to be careful.

Re: another hand :)
I think this is a fold/raise situation on the flop. The pot is small, and if he has anything, you're drawing to an ace and a backdoor flush draw- not good.
If you raise and he calls, you likely...

Re: This hand blows
I think your play is fine. Judging by his actions, I would put him on something like 78 or possibly A7 with the ace of spades.
If the board pairs again or another spade hits the river you can...

Re: 99 out of position
I like the way you played the hand. Coldcalling with 99 in SB is fine.
I think you're usually beat on the river, but with 10.5 BB in the pot you have to make the crying call.
Without any...
