Default AQo raised preflop but miss

I always run into these problems. I raise pf with AK,AQ,AJ and always miss, what should i do when i miss? bet out then check turn for a free card?

I would bet the turn. Given the coordinated flop, it's likely he is on the draw, and it's doubtful the turn helped. His check on the turn shows weakness as well. If he plays back at you, you can lay the hand down.
