Re: This hand blows
I think your play is fine. Judging by his actions, I would put him on something like 78 or possibly A7 with the ace of spades.
If the board pairs again or another spade hits the river you can slow down. I think worrying about an overflush at this point is monsters under the bed, so to speak. |

Enough to get three people to fold? [/ QUOTE ] It is certainly worth a shot. If they don't have a Q or a 7 they're going to be hard pressed to continue and you don't mind if they call. |

No useful read on Villan. PokerRoom 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 3 folds, MP1 calls, 2 folds, CO calls, 1 fold, Hero completes, BB checks. Standard complete. Flop: (4 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players) Hero bets, BB folds, MP1 calls, CO raises, Hero calls, MP1 calls. Four-flush, but nobody pfr'd, and I don't want the flop to check through, so I bet out. Villan's raise could be another flush draw, a queen, a seven, I dunno. I don't want to push MP1 out, tho, so I call. Turn: (5 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero bets, MP1 folds, CO raises, Hero 3-bets, CO caps, Hero calls. Over the top? [/ QUOTE ] bet/call the river that isnt a Q,7, 4 or another spade and it's all good boz. |
