Default This hand blows

No useful read on Villan.

PokerRoom 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, MP1 calls, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, CO calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Hero completes, BB checks.

Standard complete.

Flop: (4 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, BB folds, MP1 calls, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises</font>, Hero calls, MP1 calls.

Four-flush, but nobody pfr'd, and I don't want the flop to check through, so I bet out. Villan's raise could be another flush draw, a queen, a seven, I dunno. I don't want to push MP1 out, tho, so I call.

Turn: (5 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, MP1 folds, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO caps</font>, Hero calls.

Over the top?

I play everything the exact same. he will have a 7 here an awful lot, or 2pair + FD.

My guess would be that he lost? Otherwise this is pretty standard.

I'm a little skiffy* on the flop bet. It's certainly not for value as we're drawing to the fourth flush on a paired board, and we don't exactly have a hand to protect here. So what if the flop checks through?

Edit: 3rd nut, forgot about the Q.

* I just made this word up.

You have a lot of fold equity on that flop. Q77 doesn't hit many limping hands.

Enough to get three people to fold?

Other than that you (obviously) lost I don't see how you could've played the hand any differently. I'm assuming you just called the river.
