Re: 2/5, 200bb stacks, flopped set. best line to get AI?

[ QUOTE ]
$400

[/ QUOTE ]

If I make it 400, aren't I telling him he's about to play for his whole stack anyhow? If I push, it might look like I'm trying to run him off his hand with spades.

2/5, 200bb stacks, flopped set. best line to get AI?

2/5 NL at the Bellagio. I am in the BB, villain is UTG. I have just shy of $1k, villain has me covered (barely). Villain is fairly new to the table (<1 hr), has played very few hands. Bought in for...

Re: 11$t- A9o - cripple bet and reraise on Flop

If you're going to go for a c/r here, you need to raise it up to more like T150. I'd call the flop and lead a non-heart turn usually.

I don't mind a limp in an unopened pot in the SB with an aggressive BB player

1) I only really want action from a worse ace.

Re: ($10) 5 handed. dealt AKs, shove to soon ?

This hand history is broken.

It's fairly clear that:

(1) The blinds are actually 75/150 and
(2) MP limps before you limp

I don't mind a limp in an unopened pot in the SB with an aggressive...

Re: industry giants say, \"Not so fast\"

You'd think if your business made tens (hundreds?) of millions of dollars and legislation was being actively pushed that would cripple it, you'd have some contingency plans.

Is this list complete. I for one am making sure to vote against each one of these [censored] in the next election if possible. I already copied this list.

Re: $22, 98s, flop play?

[ QUOTE ]
What's my play here?

[/ QUOTE ]

Push, spike a T on the turn, and explain to CO that he shouldn't put his stack at risk with crap like KK this early in the tourney.

Re: $20+2: A-A facing all in turn raise

Think of the pre-flop action. What would call a raise there? Certainly not T8. TT is possible, but a good player would probably just call the set on the turn.

Re: (2/4) KQ flops huge from BB, then gets big action

Ok, I'm a donk, and I clearly need more sleep. Missing the limper in the hand is bad, but missing it when I post the hand is idiotic.

Re: 2/4, A9s attempts a \"re-steal\"

b/w the K & T I think we're now a dog when he calls. Both those cards fit very well into an aggro MP opening range. Either/or I bet. With both I think it's a check.

Re: Is this an example of eliminating your variation? (AQ vs TAG)

It's been pretty clear to me (in the ~40 hands I've played at this table) that this player is a TAG, he smells like 2+2. Question is, is AQo enough to 3 bet here on the button, or do I...

Re: $22: Can you fold here?

I could see a cbet, a c/f, or perhaps even calling a bet on the flop here. A c/r here seems insane unless you're sure somehow you're ahead. (And I don't see how you'd know that unless you "knew" that...

Re: Did anybody successfully complete the gigabet challenge?

STTers pooled 10k to bet that Giga could not: play 100 STTs at each level, from $11s on up, with a starting bankroll of $165. If Giga ever ran out of money to do the 'next' tourney, he loses. If he...
