Default $20+2: A-A facing all in turn raise

PartyPoker $22 Regular Tournament, Big Blind is t40 (8 handed) Converter on pregopoker.com

UTG (t2065)
UTG+1 (t2970)
MP1 (t4730)
MP2 (t1920)
CO (t1630)
Hero (t1880)
SB (t1585)
BB (t3220)

Preflop: Hero is in Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
UTG calls t40, <font color="gray">UTG+1 folds</font>, <font color="gray">MP1 folds</font>, <font color="gray">MP2 folds</font>, <font color="gray">CO folds</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to t120</font>, <font color="gray">SB folds</font>, <font color="gray">BB folds</font>, UTG calls t80

Flop: (t300) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG checks, <font color="red">Hero bets t150</font>, UTG calls t150

Turn: (t600) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG checks, <font color="red">Hero bets t300</font>, <font color="red">UTG raises to t1795 (All-in)</font>

Normally I raise more preflop. This was a moment of weakness to keep EP limper in. Fold to this raise? Figures to be 8-T or a set. Anything else would have gotten crazy on the flop.

Definitely raise more pf, and bet more on the flop. You have AA, get chips in there god dammit. Easy call on the turn imo, but you should have made it easier by getting more chips in prior.

Think of the pre-flop action. What would call a raise there? Certainly not T8. TT is possible, but a good player would probably just call the set on the turn.

You'll see AT or KT here often enough (or 99, QA, KA) that you have to call the shove.

I would have potted the flop to make a draw expensive. If he flips over TT or 88..... so be it. If he flips 67 for the straight, then make a note of how bad he plays.

Good luck! SMcF

As others have said, bet more preflop and bet more on the flop. As played I instacall the push.

Call the turn and lead the river? I think TT is more likely to raise another T300-600 on the turn, hoping hero shoves over.

But yeah, calling this push for sure.
