My reasoning I have 2 suited overcards and a gutshot straight draw, and hoping to hit one of those on the flop.

edit: the reason is that as short as you are just picking up the blinds is huge for you. Whenever you have less than ~10 big blinds you should mostly be folding or just going all in with all but the very best (AA,KK) hands

If you have 10 or fewer big blinds than your options are almost always to either fold or to move all-in before the flop. This hand is an easy decision to move all-in pre-flop. Limping is absolutely horrible.

As said the reason is picking up the blinds is huge when your stack is this short. Here just picking up the blinds increases your stack by 36%.

As everyone else said...shove pre-flop. In addition to the huge benefit of picking up the blinds if everyone folds pre-flop (which wouldn't have happened here), think about some possible situations. As it was, QQ still stacked you and the outcome was the same. But what if an A or K came on the flop? You gave the QQ a chance to get away without doubling you up. What if nobody had a hand as strong as a QQ? By limping you let someone see the flop cheap with a weaker hand and potentially beat you.

As stated earlier, less than 10 big blinds definately had to just go all in there. Make people risk calling with lesser hands and also the possibility of just picking up the blinds right there.

It's fairly clear that:

(1) The blinds are actually 75/150 and
(2) MP limps before you limp

I don't mind a limp in an unopened pot in the SB with an aggressive BB player; the goal here is to get all in with them and double up, though, so you only do it with the intention of calling a push or pushing all in if they raise less.

Once MP limps, the amount of chips available if you push has now gone up significantly, and I think it becomes more important to just take it down.

Post-flop, I think a call is in order. If he has AA/KK, so be it... and I think it's possible, given his smallish pf raise. You almost certainly have 5.5 clean outs (gutshot+backdoor flush). Plenty of times you'll have 11.5 outs or 8.5 outs, in which case you have odds to call. And, of course, there will be times when he's making this move with AK himself, or just has AQ/KQ, and then you're obviously a huge favorite.

1) I only really want action from a worse ace.
2) There is 375 sitting out there to take which is huge
3)The BB is much less likely to make a loose raise with two limpers.


edit: i see you mention that with the limper this is a push, but even without the limper you need to push. Limping in the sb hoping that one player left to act raises is really bad imo.
