the correct move would be to fold your hand preflop, but atleast you raised instead of called.

Pre-flop is fine. A 14PFR will raise with a wide range of hands from MP3.

Flop and turn are standerd.

The river value bet is thin, IMO. I would probably check. I guess a bet is ok if villain will call down w/AQ or 88. Like I said, it's close either way.

meh.

I don't really like the river bet. His range doesn't include enough hands that you beat at this point. I doubt he's looking you up often with an unimproved A, and there aren't that many pocket pairs lower than 9.

If I'm going to make a 3-bet preflop like that which is totally based on a player read, I would want more than 51 hands of stats. Did you have a note that you saw him showdown mediocre hands after he raised pre from L/MP? If not, I don't like it, but at least you didn't call.

Check behind on the river, he'll need to call with a worse hand the majority of the time to make that bet profitable, and he sure as hell wouldn't fold a better hand.
