Re: online gambling
you would have better luck in the internet forum. FYI, money movement both ways is somewhat a pain, but doable. As you probably know several sites are not takeing U.S. players, but the ones that do...

Re: BR Management for Moving Up
1. Make sure you are a winner at your current level.
2. Make sure you are comfortable at the level you are moving up to.
3. The more tables you play the more buyins you should have
4. If you lose...

Re: 200NL - AA gets CRAI on turn
If he is on tilt like you imply he could easily have JJ or QQ. You can't rule out AsKs either. I think his range is large enough that you have to call. If he has 1010 those are the breaks. I can't...

Re: NL 100, bottom set vs VERY tight opponent
IMO the only hand you have to worry about is 77. I agree with the consensus you played it weak, the only reason to not reraise the flop is to induce a turn bet. So either 3 bet flop or c/r turn. As...

Re: 200NL Live: TP facing river allin
flop is fine
turn, I could go either way with a bet or check, but fold most of the time to the raise (unless he is a calling station). You only have 6 clean outs, and you are giving 2-1 odds. The...

Re: NL200
If the button wasn't in the hand I would like the smooth call. I would raise it to about $90, with the main purpose of my raise to push the button out, and to get utg to define his hand a bit. If...

What are you talking about AK is always the nuts when an Ace hits the board.

Re: qq overpair vs bad player
I agree with the last few posters this is very close given the aggression rating. I think it is rare that someone this passive comes over the top with one pair. If it were 70 bbs I would fold for...

Re: 2pair 200BBs deep
True:
You are assuming the villain is a good player. I think there is a good chance that the villain puts hero on a hand like JJ or QQ, and is trying to bluff him off the hand. There is also...

Re: 2pair 200BBs deep
Villain's range would have to include AK correct, also he could be using the ace as a scare card. BTW, I don't really like the preflop call from oop with a drawing type hand.

Re: unexpected raise from 2+2er
Understood, but if he bet it earlier he would have a better idea of where he was at, and he wouldn't look so weak imo. Either way, I doubt a stone cold bluff bet with 1 to 2 odds is +EV.

Re: unexpected raise from 2+2er
The size of the pot is not worth the risk. I think he has a hand more than you think. If you think he is raising you light, wait for him to do it when you have something (at least something better...

Re: I got a Set of Fours
In passive games you should play most hands more aggresively. My point was in games with aggressive players you should play small pairs more passively. I personally don't want to go into battle very...

Re: I got a Set of Fours
Chip the problem playing it this way is that many times you end up playing a decent sized pot with only a small pair. I agree that when you hit your set after you raise you are going to be in...

Re: I got a Set of Fours
Why are you guys wanting to raise preflop so much? It is ok to raise sometimes, but it is not a mistake to limp.
In my experience the way you make money with small pairs is in the set value, not...
