Usagi listen dont think you are making a mistake by playing in this game...Your biggest mistake so far is getting up from that table no matter how many rebuys...Al_Money is right and dont be intimated with those players...In other words "Dont be scared money"

You are getting a lot of sarcastic remarks in this thread, and for the most they are right that you want to be in a game like this. However if you are too risk averse to handle the variance or if you tilt easily when you take a bad beat move on to a game you are more comfortable with. No matter how good a game is if you are not comfortable you will probably lose. You probably just need to adjust your normal game to handle this type of game.

I want to know if other people think as I do. If you had $1000 in your pocket, how many $100 buy-ins would you be willing to go in such a game? [/ QUOTE ] Do I have an ATM card too? I'd be willing to go about 100 or so I'd say. |

The only reason to leave this game, is if your stuck a whole lot and the people winning all of the pots are leaving the table. As long as the cash is out there, and people are calling pushes with 78o and A2 I keep playing until I can't stay awake anymore.

Gads, I feel stupid now, but still think I did the right thing at the right time for myself. I rarely ever tilt, but when I do it's because of games like this. I start pushing marginal leads. Had I won that 99 first hand I probably would have stayed to clean up.
I don't play scared. I'm not intimidated. I just didn't want to play a crap shoot that night. |
