Villain just pushed me off a hand not too long ago. 22/2.5/.8 over 40.

edit: making it clear, thats not the reason you fold, just another thing that makes me lean toward folding. the reason you fold obviously is because all you can beat is a bluff.
but the fact that he knows he pushed you off a hand earlier, and is now making a big river overbet, makes me think that he thinks hes going to get paid because you are frusturated from folding so much to him.

obviously its not going to work because its sooo simple to see he has a big hand

I think it's fine. If the board only had a 2 flush, then I'd be more inclined to check.
