Facing an all in bet with KK on a scary board
Villan is an unkown...he has been sitting at table for 3 rounds and I have no particular reads. I have been playing very TAG..almost nittish running around 10.6/7.4 over 100 hands. My raises have been get alot of respect and I have only showed down good hands.

Re: Facing an all in bet with KK on a scary board
its push for sheezy on the flop he has QQ/KK or even 10s or 9s if his bad alot more often here and your call on the flop and check on the turn may mean you have AK of diamonds or something.... I push that flop I dont think AJ would call a reraise from a nit like you
btw just curiouse how do you run at NL400 with those stats? gl |

Unless this guy is a complete retard the only thing you are beating is QQ. Are you sure you can rule out AA? I think I yell a few cuss words, and fold.

Push flop without reads.
Also nobody notices how tight you play please get this through your head, especially after only 100 hands. |

Iponnet...you had a very good read. I dont really like the line i took but i felt i had to call his all in push after checking that turn.

[ QUOTE ]
does anyone check this flop? [/ QUOTE ] I don't think so. (1) There's the FD which could kill your action/beat you (2) I want to get it in. Villain will call/raise with all kinds of PPs that you dominate. So I would start getting value right away. I was interested about turn. Why not lead out? Did you know he was going to push all in? |

Re: Facing an all in bet with KK on a scary board
I think even against a pretty bad range for you you are priced in to call.
Board: 6d Jd Jc 3s Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 63.876% 61.24% 02.63% 512 22.00 { JJ+, 66, AJs } Hand 1: 36.124% 33.49% 02.63% 280 22.00 { KdKh } |

Re: Facing an all in bet with KK on a scary board
Im not sure why i checked the turn, but I was treading carefully and I wanted to see what he would do....I thought i would get more information by checking to him then by leading out. I didnt put him on the FD because he raised me on the flop so if he checked behind the turn I wasnt as worried about giving a free card. I also just didnt think he shoves there with the nuts, why would he want to blow me off of a good but not great hand?
