Re: AQo in position against 2 Villains

*Grunch*

Looks to me like BB has AK or else is super weak-tight with a big pair or being dumb w/ a lower pair like TT. MP1 probably has Qx. I play all streets exactly as you did. Nice hand, IMO.

Party 0.50/1.00 - UI overcards 3 way

Regretably readless. I ususally c-bet flops like these into one player. What do you think about firing the second bullet? Thanks.

2) Raise for free card play. Your outs are clean and if BB is weak post flop, like you said he his, you're likely to get the free card or else find out you're farther behind...

Re: Flop decision

1) Limp is good. J9s has a small equity edge against the average loose player's hand, but the blinds have ATC, so you're likely to win a fair bit more than 25% of the time.

2) Raise for free card...

I would probably c/r the flop with this hand. The donk just looks donky.

C/r a gutshot with a backdoor flush draw? Really? Free card play?

Re: Suspected King Vs Tons of outs

c/c the turn. c/f the river. You're pair of 6's isn't good just as you suspected.

The flop raise seemed like a great place to protect my hand in this burgeoning pot.

Re: Battle of the Blinds

Someone, once advised me that in HU play (and extrapolating to FR when it's folded to the blinds) to limp/check aces with a low kicker(A8-A2) and raise aces with a high kicker(AK-A9). The logic...

How\'s my flop play?

My read on BB is that he's a little loose PF and pretty passive. The other players to see the flop were pretty tight.

Re: Gave up +EV or OK?

Yup, easy fold. If you had a confident read that said AJo was way beyond villain's PF raising range, then you could 3-bet to isolate, but against a 10% VPIP, you don't want any part in this. Good...

Re: Blind steal to flush draw to turn spew?

You should c/c the flop getting 8.5 to 1 on a gutshot and FD that is good probably about 1/3 of the time. When flush hits on turn you should b/f. If villain is raising you on a 4-flush board after...

Re: Playalong: s00ted rags from the SB

If the small blind is greater than or equal to 50% of the big blind ($0.15 in this case) I usually complete with any two suited, if there is at least one limper in. If there are 4 limpers in front as...

Thanks guys. I think I have a better understanding of what I'm looking for in iso-raises. On that note, I'd like to do a little (or a lot) more reading/study on the subject. Are there any posts or...

So you're saying I should pick my iso-raise hands based on what I think I can SD and win UI? When I made these plays I was thinking that if I hit any top or mid pair (A, Q or J) I was probably...

Help me with my isolation raises.

I've been trying to work on adding isolation raises to my arsenal and these seemed like good opportunities. MP3 is the same ultra loose and aggressive player in both cases - he limps probably any two...

i really don't think this is a bad idea, i think this goes along the lines of playing aggressively in big pots, good play IMO, even though your outs are tainted, this play isn't bad

Party 0.50/1.00 - c-bet or c/f ?

Re: Party 0.50/1.00 - Isolation raise

Mr. Wookie,

I don't think I could call a bet UI on the river based on the player's I'm up against. MP3 seems passive enough that he wouldn't take a stab at a pot after it checked through the turn...

Re: JJ in multiway pot with overcards on flop

Kumarshah is right. This pot is just too big to give it up right away. Since you're on the button I would b/f the flop, and c/f the turn and river. No one is going to SD w/ anything that you beat...
