Default Gave up +EV or OK?

This hand is simple and probably elementary to most but I am working on plugging leaks and strengthening my game so I thought I would see if others could steer me straight here. By nature I call this preflop but I am consciously trying to convert as many calls as makes sense to either raise or fold because I think I am too weak tight overall. So when I folded this against my nature I did so thinking I was making progress. Since then I was thinking, " is that just weaker and tighter than ever?"

I have only seen 2 hands of villians to this point they were AJo, called in middle position and ATs called in late position. On very few (35) hands played s/he is 10% VPIP w no preflop raise. I put h/im on TT+ or AQ+ and folded my AJo to the raise. Right? Wrong? Why? Thanks in advance:

Yup, easy fold. If you had a confident read that said AJo was way beyond villain's PF raising range, then you could 3-bet to isolate, but against a 10% VPIP, you don't want any part in this. Good fold.

This post should be titled "not entering the pot with a hand that is not best and frequently dominated".

Yeah, I know. It was a partially a joke. Just for reference:

TT+,AJs+,KQs,AQo+: 69%
AJo: 31%

Who is this villain though? These stats are crazy.

Against a more typical villain (PFR roughly = 10%) we do a lot better though:

88+,ATs+,KTs+,QJs,AJo+,KQo: 58%
AJo: 42%

Do you guys still dump it here?

Just because I love to stovz0r, heads-up vs. someone who'll raise the top 16% of his staring hands, you are a coin-flip with AJo.

Not really. I've folded 35 hands in a row before. It's easy to be card dead for a few orbits.

i'm not 3 betting because i have the best hand. i'm 3 betting for isolation because i like my chances going HU with position with a 40+/16+/.5 or less villain.
