Re: 3/6NL: bitch spot with QQ

River bet would make me sick. Any reasonable villain checks AA/KK/QQ/JJ here, right? So we're looking at AhKh/TT for value, AK/Air for a 3-barrel.

Given his high level of aggression, I'd assume...

The thing I don't like about this spot is that if he pushes, you'll be getting 3:1 and be priced into calling it all off as a dog.

Re: NL100 flopped middle set on Drawy board

There are two hands that have you beat, and given Btn's TAGgy nature, there are dozens that you have beat. I would have lead the flop and pushed over his raise.

I'm confused by your thought...

Villain is unknown. I Just sat down 2 hands ago.

I can't tell if I butchered this hand, leaving me a tough river decision, or if I'm just inevitably in a tough spot here. Advice on every street...

Here is a reasonable range below that makes this a call.

Re: I HAS Jacks

So it looks like you're calling $65 into a $200 pot, roughly 3:1. But if he has a king, you're down to 2 outs (10:1). To make this call, he needs to be on a draw or bluffing (that is, without a King)...

I think that being able to get away from AQ/AK on these boards was one of the big adjustments that I made when moving from NL100 to NL200.

In NL100, you see enough stubborn KKs (or idiot bluffs)...

Re: AK preflop/flop play

I think you can assume that the limper will stay out whether you call or re-raise. $12 more is a pretty big premium, and he wanted to get in cheap.

I'd normally reraise to $36. If he pushes, I'd...

Re: Co 3bet response quiz...

I'd fold everything on the list. If I've been playing for a while, and he hasn't done this to me yet, I'd rather lose $4 than go to war with junk. If this weakness induces him to try it repeatedly,...

Re: NL200 AQ reraise buttonsteal

You only beat a bluff here, and with such a small turn raise, it's hard to believe that button is bluffing. Reasonable chance of a split AQ, though I'd guess you're looking at a lot of flushes, sets,...
