Re: Best poker layout, neatness and graphics

that's weird to me. you can hate ub for a lot of things but i think hands down it has the clearest clutter free gfi. full tilt is second.

UB Bad Beat Jackpot/ Math question

Okay, so I'd like to continue to play on UB for rakeback/home site/etc. (I know they generally suck in terms <fill in the blank>)

At the bbj table they take $.50 out of every pot. Assuming you...

Re: UB has added bad-beat jackpots!

Hate this promotion w/ a passion. Its like UB is literally trying to keep me away. UB just stop doing anything new -- go back to 2004. Every change UB makes pretty much sucks.

Re: UB Support: I GIVE UP

I also hate this BBJ policy. Pisses me off.

Re: 200NL AK river play - am I supposed to fold now?

and when he is on a draw and misses, he's going to bluff at it enough for you to make some money.

Re: 200NL AK river play - am I supposed to fold now?

well it seems to me when he calls the flop, he has either flush draw, set, or KQ. If the flush comes, then you can fold to a big bet. If you're up against a set, you min. losses. If you're up...

Re: 200NL AK river play - am I supposed to fold now?

Is checking the turn a bad play? (W/ the idea that your going to call most river bets). Its passive but it controls the size of the pot.

Re: Problem w/ Rakeback.com -- Question

Okay this is getting stupid. Still no confirmation. Are these guys idiots? Or does it normally take 20 days to get confirmation?

Re: Problem w/ Rakeback.com -- Question

Thanks. I did finally get a response, but not a confirmation that I'm going to get rakeback on UB.

Problem w/ Rakeback.com -- Question

I signed up for UB rakeback w/ rakeback.com on 12/31. I emailed them a couple of times and they have not responded. I'm getting a little annoyed. Is this unusual? Something to be concerned about?

Re: NL200 flopped flush.. huh?

by the way, no one has mentioned the posibility of a blocking bet on the river. is that a worthless idea?

Frankly, this is why I don't like to play this deep, b/c I just...

\"Standard\" Pre-Flop raise? (1-2 NL)

In unopened pots in late position and on the button I generally raise to $6 regardless of my hand (sometimes i'll limp). In early to mid position, I raise to $7. Is this not enough?

Re: Folding bottom set on 200NL (giving people too much credit?)

Wow really bad. What do you want to hit in a raised pot like that? What flop are you looking for 4 8 9 rainbow?

I do, however, disagree that you made a bad river fold given the action. I think...

Re: Stack-a-donk with a pair of sixes

Re: 1-2 NL -- Min raising in Pos w/ suited connectors or small/mid PP

I probably should be clearer. I would NEVER do this heads up. The situation I may do this is when there are at least 3-4 limpers in front of me.
Why I don't want to make a bigger raise? I want...

1-2 NL -- Min raising in Pos w/ suited connectors or small/mid PP

I do this occasionally w/ the theory being that most of the time people do not three bet, and effectively you have just made a 1-2 game play like a 2-4 game for one hand, and you have position.

On...

Hourly Rate Questions -- bb/ 100

I have a pretty small sample size of 14,000 hands at 1-2 NL w/ a BB/100 of 4.54 at 9 handed tables multitabling 4 tables. Can anyone give me an idea what my hourly rate is and how to figure it out?...

Re: Costly mistake

i think this is an easy fold too. If you hit top or middle set, I think that's a tougher decision, where I would lean toward calling.

Re: Playing out of the Small Blind 1-2 NL

If folded to I'll usually raise to $7 w/ a pretty good hand to a great hand -- say K10 to AA. I'll usually complete if folded to w/ hands like 56os, 10-8s, etc. If I get a 2-4 limpers in SB I'll...
