This is perfect IMO.

I think the board texture is perfect. You're risk is nicely hedged against the off chance he has a set or made straight, which frankly I think most m-tabling regulars would raise the flop with (the set).

you just got stack a donked. i hate it.

it might not be so bad because of his weak turn bet. but I still don't like it. I think a set is likely in his range.

if you think he'll fold an over pair...maybe. But what overpairs don't reraise preflop. that fold here...TT or 88.

I don't think he floats this flop much.

I sincerely hope you are joking. It is a terrible move IMO as you're never getting called by a hand you beat and you have to suckout to win this hand. This is a good move if the opponent is a good floater, and that's basically about it.

the read is that the villain is not a donk. we don't expect him to call with a hand like TT in this spot.

It's pretty close. I like it a little more than normal because I always percieve aj as a mega nit.

I think most regulars raise their sets and straights on the flop. He could have a 44,77-TT type of hand.. maybe A7s?

EDIT: and I'm generally a fan of the stack-a-donk bluff line versus regular TAGs, because they know exactly what it is. It's just this board is a little bit scary, and the 9 hits one of the few overpairs I think he can have.

Also consider, if he calls flop with 77-TT, does he call a turn PSB?

Would you CRAI this turn with AA? or would you just call and evaluate river. I feel like that has a large part of this play being good or bad.
