Default Costly mistake

I bought in for the maximum $200 at our local casino NL $1/$2 the other day. Full table - I'm half way around from the button and choose to post $2. Get dealt T9o and check when it comes to me. We see the flop with 5 players total.

Flop comes Th9h7c.

UTG bets $10, I raise to $30 with top-two. Everyone folds. UTG re-raises all-in (he has me covered).

I've talked to a few of the pros at our local casino and they stated that this should be an easy fold for me.

Would you call? - I did although with great trepidation. He had the straight and was protecting his hand from the possible flush and straight draws.

Don't include results.

In a live game against an unknown this is a super easy fold. You told him you had a strong hand and he said he had at least a set, or possibly a straight. I don't think most live players at these stakes would even do this with a hand as weak as A7hh (which you are barely ahead of).

Live players are notoriously straightforward/nitty, though occasionally you find the type that love to slow/tricky play that will retardedly do this with AA/KK. I wouldn't count on it often enough to call though.

Good feedback - thank you. Definitely a mistake on my part. Part of the reason I called is that I had gone in with the attitude that I would play more agressively than I had in the previous session where my conservative play had left a lot of money on the table.

i think this is an easy fold too. If you hit top or middle set, I think that's a tougher decision, where I would lean toward calling.
