Fold. His line looks like a flush, and it's higher than yours. He min raised the turn and bet the pot on the river, I doubt this is a set/two pair. He puts you on a big heart and is donk-min raising the turn for value.

the other posibility was that he had either KhJx or KxJh which i assigned as a big part of his range.

Withe these hands being such a big part of his range doesn't this make a call fairly straightforward?

This looks like a flush all day, and its exactly how a loose/weak/passive player would play it. And its probably a bigger one than you have. Loose /passive players love suited cards as much as pocket pairs, if not more.
Having said this, I'm not disciplined enough to fold this. Four hearts hit the board, well, OK, I fold. But I can't fold this anymore than I can fold a set when a the betting may indicate a bigger one is out there.
There is enough chance of a set/str8 (with Kh)to make this call and get the bad news.
Sorry...

by the way, no one has mentioned the posibility of a blocking bet on the river. is that a worthless idea?

Frankly, this is why I don't like to play this deep, b/c I just refuse to laydown a flopped flush. I think a $50 bet on the river from our Hero would have been the best play, but on the other hand I would then feel pot committed. Very interesting hand.

but villain is passive... a lag or maniac would pot the river with that stuff.... a passive player?

Tough spot...I think a blocking bet is best here against a passive. As played, I think its close, but a call nonetheless.

for those interested i called. he showed J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

anyways, thanks for the input all. moral of the story; passive players rarely full pot a weak hand at the river.
