Casaubon,

Re: AK strong line from villan

I think just calling preflop needs to be considered.

As played, I three-bet the flop a lot, but I have mixed feelings about it vs. reasonable players at these depths.

Re: JJ facing overpush on turn

Because he made a full house!

Why would 86 or 76 play this way either?

Just because a guy has managed to be 20/16 over a small sample, we shouldn't assume he's rational and plays well.

Re: 1/2 live: who takes a shot and who gives up?

I think people are underestimated just how awful live $100max players are. Your draws are pretty live and likely to get paid.

I don't take a shot--rocky fish don't fold, they want to see the...

Re: AA question based on Professional No Limit reading

The process isn't just "I have aces, big pot, see flop, aww eeeeeen."

It's:

1. What range will he call X-sized reraises with?

2. What range will he stack off with for X pots on the flop?

Re: Why should we not be playing suited connectors oop?

SCs seem fine with good relative position. I generally fold even if it goes limp-limp-buttonraise. You just need to steal with them way more often than pairs, and semibluffing in bad position blows...

Re: ABS/Ongame/crypto/UB/pacific/etc etc etc

Gryst and treble_hook have been two of the tougher regs I've seen, mainly because they're two of the few, jfreels is another, that is willing to reraise aggressively.

As for everyone else,...
