Default AK strong line from villan

villan seems competent but just sat. i don't think he's a complete donk though. hero just sat so no reads/history/image/etc. note stacks.

these spots suck, shoving allows villain to play perfectly- but if we call, villain is most likely only putting more money in when we are dead or splitting...so we don't want to give free cards to draws.

Vs an unknowns, I prob just shove here because I think it is KQ/diamonds/combo enough. If I think villain is good, I may just fold the flop.

Calling his c/r and folding later is terrible, I would just fold immediately. I also wouldn't bet flop. Also I like just calling PF with these stacks against an UTG open.

How did this guy double up?

I shove, there's enough in the pot that I don't think he has to be getting frisky too often here for it to be right. Tough spot though, for sure. One way or the other you're going to make a mistake here often.
