Re: Official Battle of Champions
I guess I'll go back to $10+$1 SNGs and $100NL and just shut up. Though after reading about you making $50k after a year of playing NL and even winning a $10k WPT seat I feel really worthless.

Re: Official Battle of Champions
I play whopping $100NL. Occasionally I even play two tables at once!
My point wasn't whether your opinion was valid or not. It was more the "I stand by whatever everyone else says" comment.

I've never seen so much desire to be statistically accurate in a "brag" post. I thought this was where someone goes to be cocky, not ask for advice.

OP is a crazy son of a b*tch, but not a liar.
I've known him since high school. Went to Yale w/ his older brother. Believe me, we're both making what most would consider great money in finance...

originally posted in NL SS: set vs. overset
A little off-topic. I've got a friend bemoaning his "bad" play becuase of a set vs. overset hand. I told him to not worry about it too much. I was trying to figure out how often it happens in a 6max...

$6: i think i forgot how to play a SNG
On a scale of 1-10 how easy is this fold? On the turn I couldn't think of anything I was beating except AQ, which probably would have threebet me on the flop.

huge pot overlay - reasonable?
Walked away from SNGs when they changed the structure. Got bored and loaded up a SNG while doing homework tonight. Yes, I know I should have folded preflop. How bad is pushing here? There's t690...

$50NL: TPTK + nut flush draw
I'm unsure of all streets.
My thinking pre-flop/turn were to keep it cheap and see what happens. On the turn I really didn't know what to do.

Re: $50NL: my first post . . .
I like playing poker while doing homework, so SNGs were perfect for that. I will say, I miss the "pushbot" stages of SNGs when you're playing pretty much every other hand all-in. Sometimes I feel...

$50NL: my first post . . .
My first SSNL post. Be kind. Moved over to cash after Party changed its SNG structure.
My reraise was stupidly small, but the table had been really tight preflop and I wanted to ensure at least...
