Re: Get Your Calculators Out!

I know this could be a big pot, but I'm not calling two cold
on the flop with a thin draw when the action can't be completed. And you had to call three more bets!

Easy fold, perhaps a fold...

Re: There\'s Nothing to Post About

Then just call on the river. Now that I've thought about it more--it's just a call. A chop at best, the more I think about it.

Re: how long before PS UB and FT drop?

You can't get more all-American than Doyle--the icon's online room shutting down is not a good sign. I do think there were some business-specific issues here, but this can't be a good sign.

And...

Re: No fear! (Joker gets aggressive)

Good luck! Might as well have Ac6d. I'm sure mike l. would approve.

trouble with sets

40-80 at the Commerce. Two hands really troubled me.

Hand 1:
I'm on the button with 66. One limper in MP, cutoff bets, and I three-bet. SB folds, and BB calls. MP and cutoff also call. Flop...

Re: How many ways did I butcher KT?

Well you could fold preflop, as KTo plays so poorly in many situations, especially multiway. This is a raise or fold situation, IMO, and I lean to a fold. (Have you gotten looser?...

Re: Bullets at the Bellagio

Just curious, what's a "Bell-regular?" If a brick came on the river, I would have called (albeit reluctantly). BB may
have a set, and bet the river figuring you didn't donk the turn because you...

Re: Big Hands on Big Streets

Take it to three bets on the turn. If four-bet you're done raising and will call down, having lost 7.5 big bets, if it's set over set. It's rare to lose to a bigger set, so you have to know how the...

Re: Largest Loss

You are powerless over gambling. Get over it.

BTW, anyone else blow a tourney win (of at lest 50K) that fast?

Re: turn bet

98s is the minumum here (for me), 64s isn't quite good enough out of position.

Re: turn bet

Fold preflop and on the flop. Hand is just too small to keep going. As for the turn bet--good luck!

Re: Brown Sugar

Call this down and hope a club doesn't come on the river.
Me thinks button has AcJx, but you could be beat here. And a lot of cards are bad for you on the river.

Is live play all we have now? (w/poll)

Lately, I've noticed a much smaller number of posts in this forum from online games. With this silly ban, fewer and fewer deposit and withdrawal options are available to US players. So are we back...

Re: 500/1000 stars

You could have folded preflop. Should you have? It's close, and Qx suited is often a blind defence headsup.
Anyway, I would have slowed down on the turn and just check/called on the river.

Re: 30/60 @ Wynn

Check-raise river--still will have the best hand over half the time--and call a threebet.

It's hard to play out of position; you can't always get the maximum on your winning hands.

Re: Since we\'re folding overpairs

I would raise the flop perhaps, but with so few outs and so much action in this loose game, your fold is correct.

Re: 12-24, in which I check-raise semi-bluff

With the backdoor flush possibilities, this is a good flop call (for one bet). I would take a card for one bet on most gutshots on a rainbow flop, as you may win several additional bets if you hit...

Re: I check and call and fold... all on the flop

No cap preflop, and it's close to a fold on the flop. The problem is that you need to flop something to your AK to have a chance. If the flop were JT5r, I would play for a bet on the flop. But...

Re: stars 2/4 me and enon disagree

How many outs do you really have if behind? Six, but a queen isn't a clean out. And the 10c isn't a clean out either. The possibility of counterfeiting two pair is the only reason to continue.
