Re: AKs preflop, very early in a $60 45-man turbo

Interesting. I think that at the 4s and 10s the 7-10 PFR is usually representative of their hand strength, but at the 20s I see this kind of larger PFR with different hands, not just big pairs...I...

Re: AKs preflop, very early in a $60 45-man turbo

Hey,

What makes you so sure you are up against a pair that is willing to go all in? All he's done is raise a limper and than someone called behind.

I think you should make it 350-400. This...

PStars $3.00 Rebuys AK middle of tournament.

Hello,

I'm sorry to not be more specific but the details that are necessary are here. Am I being results oriented or is this poor preflop play?

There are 1200 players left. Average stack is...

Re: 50NL: JJ in the BB, shorstack

Hero has a PSB left. The options are c/c c/f or AI. There are no Cbet options here. If he bets 6 dollars, he'll be calling any raise or putting the rest in on the turn, obv. Do you actually think...

obviously check calling is the better play if you are committed to the pot. How is this even a question?

When I'm playing really really well I will fold here to the 4-bet, because you are almost always crushed here, and when the board does pair, a good chunk of the time you are still behind...

Re: Simple Probability Question

Yeah, that's what I wanted to know. The real life question I'm trying to answer is a 30 person tournament with 10 women playing. I'm betting that one woman will make the money and I wanted to know...

Simple Probability Question

Hello,

You have a 3 table, 30 person tournament and the top 6 people get paid. The tables are numbered 1, 2 and 3. Assuming that there is no skill difference, what are the chances of at least...

Re: NL 50 AK blind vs blind

CRAI on the turn was something I considered, but I thought I may get more value by calling and pushing the river. Do you think that CRAI on the turn gets more calls then calling and pushing the...

NL 50 AK blind vs blind

Hello,

Party Poker 6 handed.

BB has $49.50. I cover. I have been actively raising and betting recently but he and I have not really played a hand yet. He hasn't been at the table for very long....

Re: How bad is this blind defense with 22?

Hand is fine until the turn bet. If he raises you on the flop it's either with a better pair, or A high. So just check-fold the turn.

I do 3-bet with low PPs in this situation, but unless...

Re: KQs against 3bet

If I peel the flop i'm going to assume that I have the best hand if I hit.

Peeling the flop and then calling down makes little sense. I would C/R the turn and lead the river.

Re: AA poop

I fully agree that c/c is going to lose you a bunch of value.

He'll call down with everything he has. He'll probably raise if he's got you beat, so bet-fold if you have the mental toughness to...

Re: firing 3 barrels

I would be surprised if you don't get called in both spots.

Both boards are so raggy and both times the draws missed. A high calls down quite regularly. After raising the flop and betting the...

Re: 5/10 Q9o Blind defence

I call down from the turn 3-bet. He's either got AA/KK or a better 9, unless he's really bad. Either way, YOUR hand is face up after you c/r the turn, so a call down is fine.
