Me and my wife just spent about 18,000 on ours. It helped that I knew the band, she worked for the caterer in HS, I knew ceremony musicians, etc. Her parents chipped in some and my parents gave us...

A couple things here:

I rarely play for more than 2 hours.

Also, acoustically there are differences between a single voiced, unamplified instrument, and most pop music pumped through a modest...

I practice trumpet in my apartment building (6 units) every day - never before 9a, never after like 7p. Never had a complaint and I'm within the bounds of the law. If someone told me not to play...
