Re: ($22) hows my line?

Yeh I think he has a pocket medium pair. You have position and you will win the hand 45% of the time.

Re: ($22) i have to move here dont i?

If he was raising with 6% of hands then he has you beat. I fold.

On the flop though I put him on a weak ace

Really? Well I guess my line might be wrong then.

Re: ($22) hows my line?

Yes PF you have position with a good hand so it's a definite call for me. There may be some on here who would venture a reraise but not me.

With no reads I think you have to assume that he...

Re: ($22) hows my line?

When he calls the raise on the flop what do you put him on? He most likely has an ace (and will almost certainly be at least drawing with your kicker). Or he could even have trip 9's.

All-in on...

Re: $11 --- Ks9s top pair on all club flop. Lead out?

You have to lead out even though the situation isn't great. Even if someone hasn't already got a made flush you can't give them a free card to hit it.

I would bet about 160. If you get called just...

Re: ($77s) Q6o, good turn, bad river.

I guess it's pretty easy to say in retrospect "I would have bet the flop" but I can't blame you for checking that kind of flop.

Good fold.

Re: ($16) First hand: ALl in preflop with AKo ??

If it was a turbo I might agree with you. But if you think someone is a fish then you can surely find better spots to get money from them than a coinflip.

Re: 33R: Weak Tight or Standard

I would stick in a good size raise when first to act with JJ.

When a raise comes back round to you, well, you're out of position with a hand that can easily get in trouble. I'd fold.

I quickly realized this guy is a fish and I push back

Even if he's on a total bluff and has two lower unpaired cards you're only a 5-3 favourite. I wouldn't put my...

Re: $16: preflop against loose opponent

I would fold simply because most loose players will call the push and it is likely to be a coin flip. There's no point getting involved in a coin flip at this stage.

Re: $16: Another AQ preflop post!

Ok, but would any holding that can call the PF raise fold to a continuation bet with only two players? Probably not that often. I think it's cheaper in the long run to just limp.

Re: $77s AK on a fun board.

I wouldn't have done anything different from PF to the turn.

The only thing I question is the size of the raise on the river. If he bet 175 into a pot of 1545 is that indicating that he may call a...

Re: $16: Another AQ preflop post!

Just limp with AQ. What are you expecting him to fold for another 125?

I would raise PF but never limp-call with this holding.

Re: $22s - No way he has my aces beaten! Or...

I'd call in this spot as well.

By the way if I had hit a king I would often lead out because at this level most people have the default thought of "well he'd check if he'd hit trips."

Re: $16: Not sure how to play these jacks

Check-raising a bet of almost 2/3 the pot is a bit strong for Ax or a pocket pair isn't it? Unless he hit trips. But on an uncoordinated board trips are strong enough for a check-call in my opinion....

Re: $16: Folding bottom two pair

I can see where you are coming from and I am prepared to admit that it is not such a definite call as I'd...

Re: $16: Folding bottom two pair

So you're saying when you are ahead it's a routine fold?

You can't just give all these possibilities an equal weighting. You see this as a routine fold; that's fine. I'd be prepared to call in...
