Re: WSOP Pay Per View

Anyone that was having trouble with Time Warner (I'm in NE Ohio), SPORTS 1, an ESPN PPV channel, just appeared on my guide. Up until now, the WSOP wasn't listed. Go back and check again, it might...

I hate bet-folding the river here. Hero has a good hand and getting faked into folding this is a huge mistake. Villain could easily...

Hi all, first I'd like to say thanks to MT2R and everyone else for their work and analysis. I feel bad for lurking and not providing any insight, but I don't do anywhere near as much research as the...

Funny, the only reason why anyone cares about the unplugged version is because the original kicks ass. He even had the nerve to play...

Re: Songs that made you realize your favorite band was going downhill

The obvious one that comes to my mind is "Drive" by Incubus.
SCIENCE rocks the world, and Make Yourself is pretty damn good, too. I actually like "Drive," but once it hit top 40, you knew it was...

Re: \"Official\" WSOP ME Thread (Days 1A + 1B)

The way Jensen plays, he might have anything there, and just raising to isolate. I think that's a pretty solid read with JJ, and not anywhere near "standard."

Re: Feeding my inner calling station....

This is more a question than a comment. I don't find myself open limping with lowish pocket pairs in EP unless the table is quite loose, or raising at a very tight table. Should I change this...

I don't have any problem with this at all before the river. Hope he has a big hand and get to 3bet. Flop and turn are standard.

Interesting online 10/20 game. No reliable reads except that Button is a super agressor -- he 3-bet the flop OOP A-high once before. I mean this guy just doesn't stop,...

Definitely call the turn. You've got a redraw to the second nut flush which is more than enough outs if he has anything other than the nut flush. And he could be raising a set or even two...

Re: 2/4 - Should I lay this AQs down?

I honestly don't know what you are so scared of. Plenty of players 3-bet top pair flush draw. His aggression is reasonable, especially over such a small sample, so I can't just put 2 pair or better...

UB 3/6 KK rivered set

Villian in hand is a spectacular 29/1/0.56. I seriously considered folding the turn, but I'm not that good yet with so many draws on the board, and I commit to showing down. Then the river hits me...

Re: 3/6 Party-Keep betting this hand?

Easy turn check. You are up against a made hand that isn't folding most of the time. If you aren't against a made hand, they aren't folding. You picked up some dirty outs--check!
