Default 3/6 Party-Keep betting this hand?

Just curious if I should have bet this hand on the Turn or gave up and checked behind. No reads on anybody. Thanks for your feedback.

I would have given up on it on the turn. With 2 overcards on the flop getting 2 callers, you have a good shot at being behind already and that would probably stop me from betting the turn alone.

Then on top of that, the 9 of hearts makes an open-ender with the overplayed J-10, and completes a flush. I'm checking the turn, seeing the river card and getting out.

I would give up on the turn, especially with that ugly of a card. Assuming the 2 opponents who peeled the flop aren't huge idiots, you are only ahead of an AT or AJ. Those are really the only hands that are peeling the flop and folding the turn.

Yeah - once you are called in two places on the flop you are behind to at least one of them a whole lot of the time. On the turn you picked up a straight draw that may help you. They are giving you a free look at the river. Take it - then spike a J and hope it holds up!

I play it the same. I hate checking the turn and allowing someone to bluff at it. Checking the river is good because there is very little that you can beat if called.

Another reason why the turn check is better is because you have a gutshot and it would suck to pay 2+ bets to see the river when you could see it for free (when you are likely not ahead).

Hmm... if the turn didn't give us a gutshot (say it was the 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] instead), then would bet/folding the turn and checking behind on the river be a better line here?

Easy turn check. You are up against a made hand that isn't folding most of the time. If you aren't against a made hand, they aren't folding. You picked up some dirty outs--check!
